Emtelle is delighted to announce that it has appointed Mark Bakker as its new Sales & Solutions Director for Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg).<\/p>\n
The 48-year-old father of three, based in Amsterdam, brings a wealth of experience to the role thanks to a career in business development and solutions spanning more than 25 years.<\/p>\n
He previously worked for 16 years with Pipelife, a leading global supplier of\u00a0plastic piping\u00a0systems and solutions for energy and water in infrastructure, buildings and agriculture.<\/p>\n
Recruited as Product Manager in 2006, Mark rose to the position of Business Manager In-House Solutions Netherlands and Germany, responsible for all commercial activities in both countries, managing account teams and product development.<\/p>\n
Other managerial positions include working as Sales Manager Benelux, Switzerland, Austria and Italy for global corporation Chemtura, focused on providing specialty chemicals to sectors including transport, energy and electronics, and which merged into Lanxess in 2017.<\/p>\n
A qualified electrical and electronics engineer, Mark also studied business studies at the Amsterdam University of Applied Science.<\/p>\n
