Bellrock Technology is delighted to have raised more than £1,100 so far after a team including Chief Executive Adam Brown and Chief Commercial Officer Dave McConachie walked the Kiltwalk for charity.

Joining Adam and Dave were Dave’s wife Anne, Business Analyst Joanna Kucieba and her niece Marianna along with Dave’s friend Brian Docherty. They walked the 15-mile route of the Big Stroll bathed in glorious spring sunshine along with hundreds of others from Clydebank to Balloch.

The cash raised, which will receive a generous 50% top up from The Hunter Foundation for every £1 raised, will go to The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice.

During the Kiltwalk, they joined up with one of their clients, Jamie Burns and his team from Ailsa Reliability Solutions who were raising money in aid of Dyslexia Scotland.

Dave McConachie said: “It was the first time I have personally gone on the Kiltwalk and it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, undoubtedly helped by the weather.

“So far we have donated £1,120, but have kept it open for another week, so we hope with Sir Tom Hunter’s generous 50% top up that we will reach the £2,000 mark.

“I thoroughly recommend other members of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce to consider doing the Kiltwalk next year. It is a great day’s walk, and you get to raise money for a worthwhile cause as well.”

In total all those who took part in the Kiltwalk raised £2 million, boosted to £3 million thanks to Sir Tom Hunter’s top-up, and benefitting 685 charities in total. Since 2016, the Kiltwalk has raised more tha £32 million for 2,850 charities.
